Information available right here at Media Matters clearly shows that, by the time you made this false accusation against Ms. Pelosi, the bill had already been online, including the manager's amendment, for more than 72 hours, Mr. Rove. You're coming quite late to the table on this, aren't you? You're position as a leader of conservative thought is in jeopardy if you're not more on the ball than you currently seem to be. Of course, once you're imprisoned, perhaps your slander and political leadership will seem a little less necessary to the meatheads who think you have something worthwhile to say.

The text of the bill, the manager's amendment and related committee reports were posted 72 hours in advance. Pelosi's office posted the text of the legislation, HR 3962, online on October 29, and it posted the manager's amendment to the bill online at on Tuesday, November 3.

      Was that so hard?

Maybe Hannity thinks its 72 hours since he opened his mouth about the bill, after all he is "THE DEFINITIVE" voice of America.

      What difference does it make?

If Sean and the Republicans had the bill for 72 years they'd still do everything in their power to kill it. It's not like any of them would wind up supporting any kind of Democratic proposal, ever.

Well, exactly. Give these clowns 72 hours, 72 days or 72 years. They aren't going to read the bill. Hell, they were claiming things about "the" Health Care bill before it even existed.

It's all about delay and defeat with these morons.

How ironic is that? A reichwinger ranting about reichpublicans not having time to read the bill is wondering why he can't find the bill when said bill was just clearly posted on this very thread by another poster. It must be difficult, playing all ignorant and stuff...

Even funnier was the take-down from some Democratic Congressman on Saturday evening. He pointedly explained that after the Republcians whined about the bill not being available when it actually was, their offering hadn't been available like it should have been.

Then another Dem got up and asked the chair where the paper copy was of the Republican offering, and he couldn't tell him where it was. It was missing, but somehow it's the Dems who were messing up the transparency here!

I know. Its 2000 pages. Does anyone really think a FOX news listener can actually read or comprehend 2000 pages of legislation never mind the fact that its 3 days. I still think obama should stick with the plan to allow the people to read the bill but 72 hours won't give FOX listeners enough time to read the first page. Have any of them even read legislation before? Its like reading shakespeare and homer collide in aramaic with yiddish subtitles. Moreover, it doesnt really make much sense for 95 percent of the bill. The constant reference to other pages and other legislation is often the biggest barrier to trying to grasp it. I mean you can skim it and look for the big ideas but i think anyone who has been following the debate knows what the ideas consist of or they havent been following. he fox nation Im sure has no clue what is in the bill which would make it even more difficult for them.

I would just tell them to sit tight, let some else read it, let them take down the big ideas and report that on CBS or CNN and then, let the conservative blogosphere, corsi, pallin and bachmann make ridiculous claims about mundane passages. Then, let Beck and Hannity condense these stories into easily understandable but totslly insane stories. Then, you will hear it direct from them in some sort of rabid state of horrific anger and their best fear-mongering of course. And if you don't get home in time for that, you can always hear FOX's actual "news" report that some sources (the shows just prior to theirs) are reporting that people will be forced into labor camps in order to earn their healthcare ratios.

But dont worry, they won't state it as fact because that may be considered irrational by the radical left - they will ask it as the form of a question or as if they are genuinely concerned about it with a strong sense of impending doom and then they will have numerous guests which will likely be the people that came up with the insane notions or insurance industry execs confirm that the antichrist has landed again and he is wearing Obama's face bringing down his wrath of fire and brimstone upon this country he hates so much.

Your doctors will all be systematically killed by the state for no apparent reason outside of the fact that the government wants to indoctrinate the news generation of doctors. And other equally fantastical ideas. So why read the bill, when in the end, your version of reality won't even be anywhere near the bill. You particular brand of crazy is likely already being formulated in the talking heads of the fringe of the republican party. Have no fear though - Im sure all the nightmares that you fear will all be touted or at least brushed on in the next couple of weeks.

According to Sean, 24 hours was enough time for him and Fox to read and understand over 2000 pages of text written in lawyer code. This is why they resort to lying about what's in it in order to stop it from getting passed. I'm surprised Sean didn't saying anything about page 666 where it bans people from getting Obama's real birth certificate from Kenya.

The Republican tactic is to not bothering to read the bill (and complain that they weren't given time to read it), pick a page number at random, make up a criticism, and lie about it.

Even if it is a blank page they will make some crazy claim about what the Democrats wanted, or will , put on that page!

If the same people who estimate tea bagger crowds were counting, those 72 hours would be over 800 hours - more than an month!

They just voted on the bill in the house - that was not the final vote. Im pretty sure it was not the final bill. Lies, pure lies. Why would we even pretend to think that Rove would be honest on FOX at any point? We might as well just assume he is going to lie about the white house and the dems every other sentence and move on. I wouldn't expect rahm emanuelle to come onto a news show and tell me his honest opinion. Would the right?
