Imagine if foreign magazines showed pictures of US elected representatives next to the big sign showing corpses calling for a revolution against the government they swore to uphold ? And noting the senate minority leaer Boehner does not know the difference between the Constitution and the Declarationof Independence? And they are supposed to impress the world watching ?

I've been thinkin that myself, maybe the world doesn't take these people seriously, because of the size of the crowds. There a joke, a small irrelevant joke.

They are a joke and at the same time, they should be taken seriously. Any large gathering of blatant hatred and pure prejudice in this country should be taken seriously no matter how foolish and ignorant. There is no place in this country for prejudice that runs free in crowds without harsh criticism directed at the leaders of such gatherings. I expect no better of the republican party but at the same time, we should not let them get away with such garbage without acknowledging that it is hurtful and wrong. Like antisemitism in Germany, Hitler rose to power by feeding on the hatred of people that were already running through the veins of his followers because it had run rampant and unrestrained for decades prior. Such things should not be condoned in this country.

The world thinks he's 10 times better than Bush, wait, the world KNOWS he's 10 times better than Bush. In fact, it's unfair to even compare him to Bush, since he was such a screw-up.

This country has made many mistakes and if you're so narrow and blinded to think we have never done anything wrong...than your thinking like an ignorant infant. Around the globe polls show that the image of this country has improved. It's just the jealous losing wingnuts that cannot stand that their party of GOP losers are the real enemies of this country.

I believe that if you actually read the text of those speeches, you would find that characterization to be wildly inaccurate - yes, he has acknowledged some of our mistakes, but he has also paraded our values and our visions.

My experience in life is that those who cannot acknowledge their mistakes are among the weakest of all. (And are doomed to failures of tragic proportions.)

Because you seem to believe that America has committed "no sins" I suspect your mileage may vary....

Turn off Fox. Think outside the VERY small box. George Bush is the worst President of the 21 Century. Because of him and his "bring it on" attitudes toward other countries, American citizens visiting countries oversea were subjected to verbal, and sometimes physical abuse.

You all must be completely living in la la land, I would first ask to clean up the fraud in Medicaid and Medicare then use that to fund it. The other BIG question is WHY does the new taxes start now and the bill kicks in 3 years later?!?!?!?!?

The Republicans have a 225 page bill that limits lawyer comp, allows you to buy across state lines, uses the already existent plan the government use to insure the others.

Is this not good enough for all of you who think the government can solve all of your problems, just sit back and let them tax the "RICH" to fund all of this. Well when the "RICH" cuts jobs so they can pay the tax lets see how many jobs will be left.

Oh yes unemployment reached 10.2 percent this week what happened to not going above 8 percent?!?!?!?

Since taxes are based on profit, why would anyone need to cut jobs in order to pay them?

Besides, employers could threaten to fire people over anything they don't like. So what? Are we supposed to knuckle under to extortion instead of fighting for people's health? And if you really want to fix this problem, then public coverage is the way to go anyway. That way, employers wouldn't have to pay health insurance for their employees at all, so that would balance out the tax increase.

Every day, of every month have been filled with nothing but "nasty", "pathetic", "shameless", "disgusting", smears about Pres. Obama and Democrats. The sad thing is that ALL of these same Republican Politicians ACT as though ONLY Liberals and Liberal-Independents have problems with their "nastiness". "NOT"!!!

Well, if I had more than a couple of hours a day to surf the net, I might be able to keep up. However, the person that signs my paycheck expects a full days work out of me and with other obligations (responsibilities) that I have in the community, some days do not leave a lot of time to get into the depth of things like most of you do, whether you are doing it on your own time or "company" time.

Nine arrests? Fairly low number for an orgy, used to be able to get more than that at a Saturday night Frat party.

Your right, being against health care reform isn't raciest of bigoted, but carrying a sign depicting dead bodies piled up in a World War II concentration camp and equating that to the health care bill, is raciest and bigoted.

Also, can you please explain how or why the number of pages in a bill is related to whether a bill is good or bad. I'm thinking the defense appropriation bill is probably pretty doggone big too. Which by the way will cost about 6 trillion dollars. Or are you just regurgitating the talking points you have heard on Fox, by the right wing crackpots?

Not saying all(R's /C's) are bigots and racists but as Conserves are so fond of saying(when they attack others) ..you are who you associate with..Republicans have carried water for racists since the Nixon Southern strategy!!!
