Funny, it seems to me that the national special elections that were held, you know, the ones that would put people in Washington, were won by democrats.

Here in NY-23, Bill Owens won in district that has been a GOP stronghold since the before the Civil war even after supporting health care reform (or as Hoffman ads put it the "Pelosi left wing agenda"). This might actually wake up some of the blue dogs.

Now, if Connecticut voters can send news clippings of this victory along with their letters to Sen. Lieberman in support of health care reform, maybe that might wake him up.

Yep, one in NY and one in California. New house members on the (D) side, increasing their majority.

They won two seats. One in Virginia by a guy who has a bad relationship with the feminist movement, and who is a protege of Pat Robinson!

Also in New Jersey by a governor is not a conservative, but a moderate! And he barely won! Now was that the right's mission to take out all moderates?

How about NY-23 Fox Snooze? Also talk about how Bloomberg convinced and bought the city council on his way to a third term and made alot of people mad in NY.

      Rushing on health reform??

Hasn't health reform been a topic for nearly a century?? Isn't it about time somebody takes real action and do something about it?

Pres. Obama may lose a few friends over this reform but he is taking a risk and doing what all people should know is desperately needed for America to be successful in the long-term. Doing nothing is not an option any more.

Tues elections tell me Dems are gaining even more momentum. Sure, we lost in VA, but thats mostly been a red state for years. We shouldn't have won in in NY, thats been red for over a hundred years, and with all the big names like Palin and Newt pushing so hard for Hoffman? Cmon
