        Yeah,
Our military receives about $600 billion dollars a year in "federal aid."

The Rodeo Clown says they're slaves. ...Lord!, he really does hate America.

            They're all on the dole...

They all hate America. Nothing worse than old-timers who hate America. They've lost the ability to make it in a truly capitalist, god-driven, free society. It's sad.

When the truth comes Beck won't have a job because he makes money from lying. He should also stop pretending that he is after both parties because we know where he stands.

The world is already the slave of the Corporations and when people finally break free fro that all the heirs and heiresses will have to work hard like the rest of the world to get their money. This is the fear Beck has. In reality you shouldn't make so much money for being uneducated and on TV.

We live in a world were so many people make money from being like Rush and Beck. In the past the celebrities were scientist and inventors. The strange thing is the thinkers have always been persecuted by the conservatives of this world.

We could even take this to the beginning of time. The creation of the bow and arrow enabled everyone to hunt. As soon as someone started owning he forests and dictating who could hunt he no longer had to think and benefited from the pressure he put on the rest of the people.

Beck is just trying to keep the forest in the hands of the master. The problem is there are to many people out there who still think they too can be a master one day and will preserve the privileges of the master in the hope that they will still exist when they too become a master. I guess they don't realize the masters will do anything to keep as much of the forest as they can.

Let right wingers keep up this greedy fantasies and we will see how far they will have gone by the end of their days.

Fight for your fighting chance not for power over others.

Yes, how dare the tyrannical government force the homeless, the hungry and the sick to get shelter, food, and medical care, when all they want is the freedom to starve in their makeshift shelters under bridges. Let's get that America back!

Did he make that slave reference because the people on the mic might have sounded "black?" These people on Fox always let out what they're really thinking!

If people who got federal money are slaves, they sure aren't very good slaves. Does anyone think Bank of America and Citi are acting like the government's slave? If anything, its the opposite.

Can we create some form of specialized Fairness Doctrine where, if you're gonna, for example, invoke the Holocaust when you rant about Obama, you have to have an actual Holocaust survivor as cohost? Because I would love to see how bold Beck was with statements like this if he had a ten-year-old former child soldier watching him the entire time.

Those are natural disaster victims (hurricane?), different story. Social Security, different story too. Beck brings up a problem worthy of discussing but does it with the tact and precision of a sledgehammer.

There are many people who are able to work but dont. They have found a way to 'feed' off of a government that creates more and more programs and benefits for them. The point is that it is those people that have become 'slaves' to the system. They have lost the motivation to work, to do better, to be better. In an 'over the top' way, this could be described as people who have sold thier soul to the government.

Here in Maine, we have hit the point where there are to many people sitting in the wagon (living on government money) and not enough people pulling the wagon (working and paying taxes). Some of the people on the lower end of the income scale that are pulling the wagon are giving up and joining those in the wagon. Some of the people on the upper end of the income scale that are pulling the wagon are leaving for other tax-friendlier states.

That is the point of what was said. I see it as a reality in my state.

The people that are using the government for money and not have not desire to work can be held accountable for not being motivated to work to make a difference in their lives.

You and I know how Becky doctors video tapes. That clip could have been about anything in general. People losing thier jobs, people losing their homes. It could have been anything. From I interpret was him saying that if you ask the government for help you are considered a slave in his eyes. What is the problem with getting starting money to help get you on your feet. (i.e. unemployment or stimulus handouts like Bush handed out when the economy began to slip. I seen people with their hands out for that.) Again I say a good start from the government is good, but to hang on is bad. Glen beck needs not distort facts and say the real story, which he never does.

There are so many elements to this issue that you have simply glossed over in your post, but you believe it, so it has to be true.

EXACTLY! I havent heard them dump on people for taking assistance in a natural disaster. The spin from here is dizzying.

My point was there is nothing wrong excepting federal assistance because they became homeless from losing thier jobs or because they had deep medical bills. Michigan was hit hard by unemployment and still is.

The spin from here is dizzying.

The only spin done was by Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh for not telling the whole facts to that story. For you to defend them is dizzying!

You become homeless and see you do not reach out for tempoary assistance from the government. People complain about othe people until it actually happens to them and then they stick their hands out! Now that is really dizzying!

Reread my post on Nov 4th at 7:29 am.

There are to many people who have turned temporary into permanent.

Read my post right after your first post responding to my first post. I am not for lazyness, I am for help, and I see nothing wrong with that, but there does have to be a limit. Now with me saying that, when companies are not hiring then people have no other choice, but to turn to the government for assistance. When you deny people to get on their feet you have a problem with homelessness, and crime spikes. The only way it can be stopped is for these companies to hire people more. PERIOD.

We agree then. The thing that gets me is the number of programs that the government creates. Did you know that there is a program for subsidizing a cell phone bill!
