      BTW, someone please tell me how the governorship election of New Jersey can serve as a repudiation of health care reform.

      Limbaugh on the Mark Levin show a few minutes ago: "They've got ACORN on the ground in New Jersey, trying to steal this thing...."

      A few minutes later, Rush answers this tough question from the pathetically slavish Levin: "What are you having for dinner?" Limbaugh assures him that he'll be eating strip steak and lobster tails with some golfing buddies.

      Ah yes, Voice of the Common Man.

      The right-wing professional liars are looking for anything they can grab a hold of to show that they can will things to happen, like election results, and that their Campaign for Obama's Failure is working.

      Somehow, the New Jersey and Virgina governors' races and the NY-23 race are a referendums on Obama's agenda, but strangely, they are silent on California's 10th district election. How why is that?

        Good question, pete. But I've got a better one:

        How is it two gubenatorial races in an off year are a referendum on a president in office for ten months, but the '06 congressional midterms weren't a referendum on a president in office for six years??

      insanity will be very disappointed if he thinks that the gubernatorial results has even a single thing to do with the health care bill. nothing could have more irrelevancy to the country's healthcare than who is governor of a state.

      based on the current form of the health care bill in congress, the best a governor can do is decide to opt-out of the public option for his state, but actually stop the bill from passing... please.

      but we'll let our little pal, seanie, keep thinking otherwise.

      I live in NJ, who is daggett? Corzine has not been good. Chris christie looks even worse. Moreover, what does the governor have to do with reforming healthcare in this country? They dont get a vote in congress.
