Sean is using the public's airwaves for his political agenda. The FCC should investigate, as well as the federal authorities.

Cable news networks are not regulated like the regular broadcast channels.

        You did know that, right?

Cable is not 'the public airwaves'.

For what it's worth, this comment was on radio, not cable TV.

Facts don't matter to MMFA. Why is this even a story on here. Because Hannity said something? Not really fighting misinformation with this one, are they?

There's no law against using a commercial radio station to endorse a political candidate.
        Nice try though

Off-Topic, but anyone else spend any time watching this revoltingly sexist pile of crud that is "Morning Joe?" I swear, it's several hours of Real Men slouching around wearing unbuttoned shirts smirking at and condescending to Mika Brzenski (sic.) Yesterday, they groaned and chuckled and giggled while Mike gave us a World Series update, and then Scarborough responded "do you really understand any of this?"

Earlier, they giggled and groaned and yawned loudly as she read a story about the fat content in fast food products, and basically refused to take up the subject because it implied the desire for a "nanny government" (Information is Bad.)

I know she's not the brightest tool in the shed, but I wonder how soulless and locked into the need for a paycheck you have to be to put up with this kind of treatment.

I've always been disgusted by what you describe.

Mika sits there and accuses people in the news of being sexist on occasion, but she sits next to a misogynist every morning, a guy who refers to our Secretary of State as "my girlfriend."

How would Mika be perceived if she referred to Joe Biden as "my boyfriend"?

Of course, Barnicle doesn't help matters, being stuck in 1974 himself.

Yep, Afghanistan is a steaming mess, and I don't think there's anyone can do about it. But there is no doubt about where the blame for that lies.

Sigh. I wish it were illegal, but it's not. Only "noncommercial" (educational) stations are prohibited from advocating for a candidate.

Section 399 [47 U.S.C. ยง399] Support of political candidates prohibited. No noncommercial educational broadcasting station may support or oppose any candidate for public office.
