The cape? The collar? Bill, I give you 8 out of 10 for style. But, you get 0 out of 10 for substance, so, that's still a fail.

You don't know what the President wants to accomplish, Bill? He wants FOX Propaganda to live up to it's patently false 'news' title. You wanna hear something funny? I watch Jon Stewart for news, because he has reliably factual content. More factual content than FOX Propaganda has in it's entire broadcast day, and in just 30 minutes. Something maybe you should aspire to.

It really says alot that you watch a comedy show for your news. No wonder you like Obama. I wonder if the Obamanation has CNN fact checking Stewart for content just like SNL.

While it does appear on a comedy channel, the Daily Show is genuine news, fairliberal. What it really says a lot about is the state of journalism in this country, that actual news is better served by a comedian.

Jon Stewart actually reports news, like that FOX Propaganda is not really a news channel as they claim. The nice thing? He can actually support his arguments, unlike every fool who appeared on FOX Propaganda to argue that there were 'death panels'.

Why is it that we're still worrying about the Taliban, all these years after Mission Accomplished?

      Remember this?

      ESAD, O'Reilly.

We saw Bill O. on the View this morning, and boy oh boy was he trying so hard to be ... Bill's little side kick Elisabeth tried to make the conversation about how high FoxNews' ratings were, so therefore... But, the other Ladies were "NOT" hearing it, LOL.

Bill O., Glenn Beck and Joe Scarborough are ALL closet Republicans who "only" comes out when the lights are off now days. Right now, the polls for Republicans are very low so now these guys claim to be Independents or Conservatives. But just watch if something positive happen for Republicans, i.e. higher poll numbers than ALL three will be back being "proud" Republicans. Uh, oh. Let's just hope the lights stay off for a long, long time, LOL.

I don't see why they think the White House is fighting them so hard. They've made a couple of public comments. That's all. There is no on going back and forth. There is no fight.

I think you should check your math , there have been at least 5 or 6 WH personnel out criticising Fox. It is clearly a co-ordinated effort and a attempt to draw attention away from other issues. A far cry from a couple of comments. But why should facts like that matter?

If the Obamanation is sucessful in controlling the TV media do you think he will go next for the print media?

        Where will it end?

Obama's not attempting to control the media - just ignoring those media sources that distort, lie, and misrepresent the news.

Make a note of it. Please.

          And Obama plays golf.

If Obama was bi+ching over being personally persecuted and victimized "harder than the Taliban", the comparison would be apt. But Obama isn't, so it's moronic instead.

Pretty sad commentary overall. Whoopi was the only one who made sense about why the Administration attacked Fox, because they make it about personalities, not policy. More depressing is that Fox's rating went up as a result. Also both Bill O and the ditzs get the ratings not because they are informative, but because they pander to "pizazz" to use Bill's words. He defies his own marketing credo with that omission - it isn't about "No Spin" it's about the "pizazz". A simple short-hand for the best carnival barker draws the crowds.

"The irony of the Information Age is that it has given new respectability to uninformed opinion." John Lawton.

Reminds me of a suggestion when I wrote advertising copy: sell the 'sizzle' (not the product). Ever watch a commercial, thought it was well done, and had NO idea what the product was?
[I recall one that was supposed to sell cars that focused on 'regular or decaf?', so I usually thought it was a coffee commercial, until the last five seconds or so when they put up the photo of the car. I still don't know which carmaker it was]

Both of you raise great points. You want to hear something sad about this clip, Bill is charming and sounds reasonable. How far must media civility have plummeted for me to think that? The same with Newt Gingrich and Pat Buchanan. What a terrible time when they sound rational.

I really think Bill O likes the personal stuff but feels guilty about liking it. Or maybe I see a little bit of fatherly stubbornness to his actions.
