The bullet hit the siding by his attic and bounced off. If the police had any evidence or suspicion that this was anything other than a stray bullet from a hunter, they would have gone to the press immediately and there would have been a massive manhunt for the "assassin".
They're eager to prove that they are morons, and they do a great job.

Sgt. Stephen Jones said no one was injured in the Oct. 5 incident, which took place at Dobbs’ 300-acre Wantage farm. Wife Debi Dobbs called 911 at 10:25 a.m. that Monday to report she heard a gunshot while she and a male employee of her husband, later identified as a driver, were outside the home, Jones said. An investigation revealed the bullet bounced off the siding near the roof, and dropped to the ground, Jones said. It is believed to be a rifle round, and there are “indications it was fired from a long distance away” because it did not penetrate the siding, Jones said. Police conducted a search in the area around the home and interviewed neighbors and people in the area, which Jones said did not reveal any leads. FOX has promoted and supported the "birthers", including dentist/lawyer, Orly Taitz ...Lou Dobbs of CNN has promoted the "birthers".
This ruling from judge Carter says it all..their agenda is to unseat a legitimate president.....so that INCLUDES FOX and Lou Dobbs facilitated by CNN.

Another challenge from birther queen Orly Taitz against President Obama's birth certificate has been thrown out of court.
U.S. District Judge David O. Carter's decision came down this morning.
Dismissed Orly Taitz's challenge that Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen and so is not the country's legitimate president.
Judge Carter wrote in his decision that the plantiffs were asking the Court "to effectively overthrow a sitting president who was popularly elected by We the People‚ sixty-nine million of the people."
