On Hannity, Malkin ignores Fox News' own Glenn Beck, calls "defacing of the flag" a "far left" tactic

From the October 28 edition of Fox News' Hannity:

Put that crazed look on any kid come Halloween and they'd be the scariest looking trick or treater on the block!
Or maybe removing all the stars from the flag and replacing only the stars that represent those states which Glenn Beck believes deserve to remain on the field of blue.
The map is not the territory. The image is not the spirit.
P.S. George Gordon Battle Liddy. I was wondering what was up with the G. Gordon and such as.

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Or this (you're not supposed to wear the flag as clothing by the way)...
Or this one (not supposed to place the flag upside down unless it's a real emergency).
This is a no-no as well...
I could go on and on with this stuff. But for folks who allegedly decry the defacing of the flag, they seem to do it with regularity themselves.
Check out Caribou Barbie desecrating a flag:
I feel I have cheapened myself. Oh well, I'm a liberal. The rigth should expect it.
Look! I've produced an argument every bit as insightful and intelligent as Michelle Malkin has, with less than three seconds of thought.
If you want an intelligent opinion on the flag, and burning or defacing it, give Bill Hicks a listen.
First of all, it's not an American flag that the artist is defacing, it's a representation of a flag, one that he painted on the wall...
If there ever was a Flag Burning Amendment, (as distasteful as that is), I'm pretty sure this wouldn't be covered by it. I believe it would have to be an actual Flag...otherwise we would be in a heap of trouble over photocopies of flags...
It's the symbolism that they don't like and the message is visceral and powerful and actually cuts through all the B.S.
And, if they would pay attention... I think the message of that artist is a patriotic one that I agree with. If we continue down this path and ignore the least amongst us, we would no longer be America...
