The flag means a lot to people whose loved one's have died for this country and for democracy. I think it was in bad taste to deface the flag.

            (k) The flag SHOULD NEVER, EVER be worn as a banana hammock by a right wing criminal.

I once had a pair of khakis that had the US flag over the front right pocket.

re: Liddy. Thanks a lot, ifthethunder. Now I'm going to have to gouge my eyes out. And wasn't it Liddy who went into schoolgirl ecstasies about President Bush's "package."

where was lou when chuck norris suggested putting tea stains on the american flag? Or how about this?

Reichwingers are making that one and selling it for profit - no outrage?

How about this one - does it bother you reichwingers? No?

Of course not, y'all wouldn't dare speak out against your racist teabagger base now, would you?

Yup, good ol lou, proving once again that reichwingers aren't only hypocrites, they're loud whiney ones at that!

Wonder what Luigi would say about the front page of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette today? A flag draped coffin of a local soldier being carried off a plane today.

Very unusual site. Sort of different from the Bush era.

(Off topic..but MSNBC has been moved to higher digital tier on Comcast in the Pittsburgh area..Didn't this happen somewhere else..Fox staed in the same place..Who owns Comcast?)

The right worships the flag while disregarding the constitution. What they like best about it is that it's very convenient if you need to hide behind it.

Exactly. The principles the flag represents are of little consequence to wingnuttia.

I get so annoyed with those who get more caught up in 'defending' the symbols of our country rather than defending the health and well-being of our nation. While not giving a crap when the previous administration defiled so many of our nation's principals and values.

Here's a guy who is not ashamed to wear the flag or to urinate and defecate in his drawers.

Yes, he's one of those special heroes of the right.

Willing to wear the flag, proud to hide behind it, but unwilling to fight under it.
