Okay. We'll be over here in the majority. I would say Rush is shooting himself in the foot, but nothing above his waist is gonna reach his feet.

I wonder if the Republicans will figure out one day, by following El-Rushbo, they will be even more marginalized, but old El-Rushbo will still have his radio program and a 400 million dollar contract?

Ah, but see, the poll is gauging how people see themselves. You, I'm sure, would say that you were a "conservative" on that poll, as would I, but your Fox/Rush/Beck brand of phony conservatism is NOTHING like the conservatism that I and probably the overwhelming majority of the other conservatives in that poll embrace.

Yeah, Rush. Sure was a good thing for the country that Dubya won those primaries. NYC and NOLA are sure with you on that.

limpaugh: "If it weren't for the primary system, Bush might not have gotten the nomination in 2000."

Wait a minute: is he speaking FOR or AGAINST the primary system?

Rush, if your analysis is so freakin' brilliant then why do only nut job extremists believe anything you say? But, keep talking, Rush...it's great entertainment.

That is not going to go over well here. It [sic] the lib way or its [sic] the highway.

First of all, the word is it's. It's remarkable that you managed to spell it two different ways and couldn't get it right either time.

Second of all, it's our side that is known for welcoming a diversity of opinions. FDR put it best, when asked to compare the disunity among the Democrats with that of the Republicans: "There are many ways of moving forward, but only one way of standing still." Will Rogers said pretty much the same thing when he joked, "I don't belong to an organized political party. I'm a Democrat."

Why, just a day or two ago, the neocons were willing to throw Newt Gingrich, of all people, under the bus for not supporting the most conservative candidate in a political race. Wake up and smell the intolerance.

Just the presence of people like yourself on these boards is added proof against your claim. Liberals routinely get banned from conservative sites for daring to express a different opinion. That sort of thing won't get you banned here. Do you even realize that you were responding to bintx, who is a genuine conservative?

Please note, though, that making an idiot of yourself while expressing a different opinion will expose you to plenty of ridicule, so you'd better expect that.

Now that you understand things better, please carry on.

You know, the Constitution doesn't mention political clubs at all . . . there is no Constitutional mandate for them. Personally, I think they are destructive.

And if you are a moderate, and vote Democrat, the Repubs should be done in about two cycles.

Republican party media talking heads always say 40% of USA is conservative. They never give the low republican party numbers when using this. The word conservative has been twisted up and lied on real bad..Today nobody really knows what conservative means.Republican party media campaigns for republicans not conservatives. There is not a non-marginal conservative party...................Rush Limbaugh will be trying to look smart with Chris Wallace on Sunday.Damage control from Laura Ingraham Sunday.............What will history say.A party consisting of nothing but a media complex like the Wizzard of Oz ran the USA

As if liberal meant democrat. A true liberal would be disgusted by how willing democrats are to put up with the so-called conservative "values." Give me a break.

and, as if "conservative" meant Republican. I know many conservatives who are also Democrats. They just don't have the same viewpoint with regard to their conservatism as the current Fox/Rush/Beck definition.
