I think MMFA mis-labled this clip. When has Hannity ever debated anyone. That is a lot above his pay grade.A Michael Moore quote from the debate??? "Some horrible things have happened,so your point is"

I think Hannity's point is that when you're the dumbest S.O.B. on tv, repeating the same old string of rhetoric as if it leads inarguably to some underlying well-known and generally accepted conclusion is akin to reasoned debate. Moore called him on it. Would have been interesting to see Hannity's response.

HANNITY in his interview with MOORE tries to blame the poor people for the crash last year.He gives the BANKERS and WALL STREET PEOPLE a pass, which is typical for a FAR RIGHT WINGER.

Poor Sean -- so blinded by his hatred for Obama, he can't keep his smear straight from one year to the next . . .

I saw part of the interview. When Michael Moore asked Sean a question, Sean was good enough to ignore it and go on to another topic. Glenn Beck has the appearance of an idiot. Hannity, although appearing a little more rational and not nearly as sensational as Glenn, appears to have a problem with fairness and when asked dodges the question. The clip does show Michael Moore in great dismay at one of Hannity's answers. In previous shows, I'm seeing Hannity try to overcome an argument by raising the volume of his voice. Michael Moore was great because he didn't act like the fawning folks that Hannity sometimes has or one of the lunatics at Hannity tries to outshout. Michael Moore did question Hannity's assertions politely and respectfully, which is usually more than I can say for Sean.

hannity is just clueless. I don't mind O'rielly because it seems like he actually has his own beliefs but hannity just follows right along political lines with no free thought whatsoever.

I have to give Sean credit...

He braved an 'interview' with someone who actually knows what he is talking about!

Gotta give Michael credit as well... He braved going on a show to be 'interviewed' by the dumbest bastard on all TV and radio!

FYI: Went and saw Capitalism, A love story... LOVED IT and HATED IT!

Loved the movie for it exposing the obvious

Hated it... (sigh) for having to expose the obvious

If you have not seen it... what are you waiting for?? Totally worth the few bucks to go!

This is predictable...Hannity will say he kicked Michael Moore's butt in this alleged "debate". The truth is that Sean Hannity is not equipped to debate my dog.

"It's not as simple as you sitting here in the studio..."

But when Sean sits there in the studio and simplifies things that's fine.

Michael Moore put on a tie? That is the first time I have seen that. Wow! Does Sean feel special? I saw "Capitalism: A Love Story" this weekend. It got a fair number of people in at 10:45 on a Sunday morning. I was surprised, and the audience laughed and clapped, which isn't something that happens very often when I go to the movies. I thought Michael handled himself well. It must have been exasperating to sit there with Thick as a Brick Hannity and not get angry or annoyed. And Sean must have liked the suit, because he was actually civil to Michael. I wonder, would Michael ever do Glenn's show? Would he feel safe? I bet Glenn would be all smarmy and creepy, because Michael is a big guy, and if Glenn did loose it and try to hit him, well, Michael could defend himself. It isn't like freaking out on a female caller that he can just have cut off and then continue to scream at her.

Was it not Glenn Beck who threatened to kill Michael Moore with his bare hands???

I know one of these right-wing slugs made this threat... anyone remember?

Yes, it was Glenn who fantisized on air about killing Michael Moore. It would be good to see them together, but I am sure that Michael would not feel comfortable.

In an interview this week, Moore said he won't go on Beck's or O'Reilly's shows because of their hateful and violent rhetoric.

Michael Moore put on a tie?

Nice catch. This is also the first time I've seen him without an MSU or Detroit Tigers hat on.

I think it was to avoid any playground mocking by Hannity.

Hannity is either trying to miss the point or succeeding in missing Moore's point. Moore is pointing out that the 9/11 terrorists were criminals who were acting on their own mission, and the US response to that was to attack a country. If a handful of Canadian rob a bank in Vermont, the appropriate US response to that would be to arrest everyone in Canada?

Hannity seems to think that the actions of a handful of people accurately represents the will of an entire nation (maybe because he can't tell one muslim from another). If that were true, then why didn't the US annihilate Michigan when Tim McVeigh was convicted? Surely, the people of Michigan were at war with the government since they sent McVeigh to carry out their orders.

The truth is that it's easier to sell a war when it's US vs THEM.

Nothing new there. These clowns routinely bash things but then use them as the final authority if they think they've found something that will support their position. How many times have we heard them bash the UN? But what did they use as an excuse to invade Iraq? The idea that Iraq defied a UN order. They bash the IOCC but recently they've been touting an IOCC report that they think says the Earth is actually cooling.
