I remember (mwhat I cannot remember is who the late night show host was ) well the episoe where Ann Coulter tried to destroyed Al Gore's reputation when the host asked her if she ever5 met Mr Gore in person. After some prodding she had to admit she never met Mr Gore. these modern dan warriors have no idea what the president will say but make up stuff that sounds logical to those hearing them without some gray matter participation.

      Fellow Matterers,

Does ego contribute to memory loss? How about a super-inflated over-the-top ego? It can not be so! The Rif-Raf, (Reading is Fundamental: Reading are Fundamental), debate Mr. Olbermann is addressing is about denial.

Keeping children from learning everything possible about their surroundings, life, the world, and knowledge is the basis of the W.A.R.,(We Are Right), feint. If Pres. Obama said on a clear day, "The sun is shining," G.Beck, Malkin, and huddle would say it is night. Is is not spite, but resentment. A plucked right wing still flaps, less the lift of decency.

Not that the left wing is staying the course, to progress. I imagine anything Pres. Obama presents, says, or does in the future, will be twisted to imply imminent doom, by wanton idiocy. A pattern has emerged.

      It be it,
      Ronin Kannushi.

This is really sad now. These people are just throwing anything against the wall and hoping it sticks at this point. That's literally what this is. Anything he does, just oppose it in a knee-jerk fashion. A visceral opposition rooted in anything but reality, logic, and common sense. If Obama donated all of his Presidential paychecks to charity, they would criticize him for doing that in this economy when so many are still struggling just to get a steady paycheck.

      THANK YOU.

Is her encouragement to parents to make their kids stay home from school a part of her hatred that she attended AND got her degree at a liberal college?

I guess in Malkin's mind she thinks education is a liberal encouragement and that kids should not learn.

You know they say too much intellegence can make you dumb to reality. LOL!

they would probably claim that he is an arrogant elitist for trying to give all of his millions to people that he supposedly doesnt care about.

Considering the position I was put in during the years, 1971 to
2006 under the controlling regiment of secretive operatives,
it is difficult to make a comment lest I be considered in the
same vein as those who run the airwaves.
Which ever way the wind blows on a given day is how the media
reacts. I consider it truly theatrical.
Actually, going back to the year 1960 would be more accurate as
to how I became captive by a family equivalent to the
      Beverly Hillbillies.
One has to have a sense of humor to survive these trying times.
I had to learn how to save my hide from those who promoted their
      own wares(stock market).

      One thing for certain.

This Administration has put the Screamers in front of this speech. They have used their pulpits to instruct parents(who have been indoctrinated by Fox) to keep their kids out of school because of the evil Obama. If the White House plays this properly, Obama can give a very encouraging speech never touching on politics, the economy, etc. He can quote Reagan, BushI and other prominent Repub figures to make the point about how staying in school(a great counter-punch to these imbecilic parents who kept their kids home) and how learning EVERYDAY can brighten your future. Stay on message..
Obama Talks, the Parents decide. Let little Jimmy wonder why he was kept out of class..and what did my classmates hear?
I realize that no matter how powerful a speech he may give, that the Cyst-Jockeys will concoct lies but this is a speech that will be heard by millions of parents, for or against Obama.
I believe that Screamers once again will be shown to be just what they are..the Mob that ruined the Republican Party.
I also hope that the Republican Congress stays home on Wednesday night..they should. I think they are in for a spanking..at least I hope that is what happens.
Hey. White House, can I write the speech for Wednesday night?

I think this address will complement his father's day Speech 2009. If these screamers want to urge parents to pull kids off schools for that day that is fine with me. they will reveal their identities by doing so. I for one, would try to finagle a visit to that school on that dayto pick up my kid for a octors appointment and somehow magigally hang aroud. And i can discuss the speech with some knowledge of the content unfiltered by any media pundit.

Most of the same things would be said no matter the race of the President as long as there would be a D after the occupant's name. And if there were an R, there would still be outrage from a certain group of people in and out of the media.

I disagree. It's a false equivalency. Presidents from both parties have addressed students/children before, never with this level of animosity.

It's white parents not wanting their children exposed to a rational, well-spoken black man because it flies in the face of their "indoctrination".

The differences between the past and present include: 1)This address is on a much larger scale and with a larger audience, dissent (or descent) will more likely be more vocal. 2)I don't recall the previous speeches being accompanied by a "lesson plan". Having not seen the plan, I have no comment, but there is more than a few people fearing the plan would reveal partisanship. Don't know. My kids will not be going to school that day, not because of the presentation, but they are all well past school age. Grandkids of school age will probably be attending.
I think Oldermann brought the race issue into the equation unnecessarily. Personal opinion only.

There is also no such person as "Oldermann." At least in the context of this discussion. No one by that name brought race into this discussion or any other.

I honestly do not see what the problem is here....ALL PRESIDENTS have read and spoke to the children and we have NEVER disagreed about it....NOW we have a President that is very well educated and well spoken, someone I would definnitly have speak to my children anyday! WE ALL know what the problem is here and it has nothing to do with the mess the Republicans are putting out in the air! What we have is temper tatrum, uneducated, silly acting, stubborn, stupidity, ignorant, racist, and misbehaved people that did not like the outcome of the election! BELIEVE ME this has nothing to do with there children whom need an education more then anybody else in there class! President Obama (yes he is OUR PRESIDENT and if you do not agree take yourself to another country) keep doing what you know best for your country! Thank You!!!
