Might as well ask me to stop drinking for a week, or a shark to stop swimming.

And when Reagan died, the right was screaming bloody murder when anyone so much as tried to present a balanced picture of the consequences of St. Ronnie the Immaculate's policies.

Mathews the problem is not with these people alone. We just got rid of these people and replaced them with those people. Those people ended up being even worse. We will no longer listen to people like you who see things purely through party lines. What we need are leaders willing to work for our people. In the camapaign, Obama played one such leader on tv but it was not to be.

I bet you didn't even vote for Obama. We just averted the great depressionII caused by the policies of those people> I smell a rat whenever I see someone profess to stand above it all like you and just want leaders willing to work for the people yet believe Obama is a socialist!?!? You either know nothing about socialism or your purposely distorting reality and it's revealing you choose the language of the teabaggers and those that follow Beck, Limbaugh or other crazy loons of the right. Surprising that after a little more than 8 months in office and averting a potential second great depression you can call his administration a failure.

"We just got rid of these people and replaced them with those people."

        Can someone clarify that statement?

Chris Matthews needs to take a week off. Matthews has on multiple occasions made insulting remarks concerning conservatives. Matthews made references to Sarah Palin being a poster girl for racism. He also claimed that the citizens attending town hall gatherings were upset because there is a black man in the White House. What? Is it ok for the left to insult to their hearts' content, but the right should be silenced? I think not! As for Ted Kennedy's passing, Fox News has been more than fair and balanced on the coverage of Mr. Kennedy's death. There have been plenty of accolades concerning his service to this country. To ad nauseam, I've had to watch and listen to the spectacle (good and bad) of a man's life and death. Sorry, folks, but he was, after all, just a man. A good man who stood up for his beliefs - but a man nonetheless. One day of coverage from all news sources would have been sufficient in my opinion. Can we lay the man to rest and move forward now?

I'd like to move forward too and pass healthcare reform. I've never heard CM say Sarah Palin is a poster girl for racism could you please provide the links. You make alot of generlizations. Alot of the people at the townhall gathererings can't stand President Obama because of his race, not all and I don't know to which extent but alot of this angwer has to do with his race. Who was it that said the Repugnicans need to find a "Great White Hope?"
I think you need to do a little more reading and alot less listening to Beck and Faux news. Try a jazz station on your way home instead of Beck.

Actually, while you're listening to a jazz station or reading celerity magazines, I'm working my second job so I can give half of it to Big Brother so the federal govt can decide how my earnings are relocated. I've been to a town hall meeting recently, as well as to three tea parties. My sign is getting good use. It says, and are you ready for this? Support the Fair Tax. OMG! Oh and BTW, I'm not a Republican. I'm a conservative-minded independent thinker.
