You have to be pretty crazy to believe that the Republican Party acts in women's best interests. Since Republicans generally believe it is best to look after one's own interests, you can see how this incongruity would send any woman's head spinning. Most are smart and sane enough to resolve the problem by not being conservative, which solves other problems as well. That leaves...

Megan McCain's a liberal. She just doesn't know it yet because she's been brainwashed being brought up in that family. But from everything I've heard, she's more a Democrat than a Republican, more Liberal than COnservative. She seems to have a good head on her shoulder. She'll come around. (And her views won't seem so conflicted once she does.)

              "Eisenhower republican"

Yeah, that what I said: a liberal.

Yeah, I'm kidding. No, you're right. Sad thing is that an "Eisenhower republican" IS practically a liberal, relative to the ideological purity being asked buy the current makeup of the Republican's and their merry band of neo-cons and funny-mentalists.

      No kidding, Laura.

Something has to happen with Health Care. It has been spiraling, totally out of control for some time now. It has always been a passion of Ted Kennedy to FIX THE PROBLEM.

Finding a solution is necessary. Period. If people want to consider it a tribute to EMK, as LBJ considered the Civil Rights act to be a tribute to JFK, so what? No harm done.

As an afterthought, it sure would be nice if all these clueless people trashing the Wellstone memorial actually saw the ENTIRE memorial. Of course, they would probably still lie about it, but it would be nice.

Poll after Poll shows that people dont want this.....
Funny because election after election show that people do want this....

Also I've noticed many more people on the Right accusing the Left of playing the "death card" as a way to get the bill passed then have actually seen people on the Left suggest it. So it seems to me that the Right is trying to convince people that the Left is playing the death card, even if they are not, just so the Right can justify its opposition to it.......

So who is politizing Kennedy's death?

(this of course leaves out the fact that Kennedy probibly would have been more than happy to have his death politicized to finally accomplish his life's work of getting healthcare reform for all, so even if the death is being politicized I figure its ok as the decedent wouldnt object to it...)

I'm sure that Kennedy would be deeply touched by all the Republicans who are now so concerned about his legacy and his being "exploited." Of course fear of the evil librul Kennedy was a major fund raising tool for the right for years. Hands off him, you jackals. His legacy is not yours to protect.

Laura Ingraham has also lost a lot of advertisers. This has made her to be a decent person at times on her show, but she can only last a few minutes before the witch comes out.She will be hosting O'Reilly's show for about a week. This is being done to get her name out there and try to get advertisers back. The best thing MMFA can do to make sure Laura Ingraham continues her downward slide is to pay no attention to anything she says.Do not give her the publicity she seeks

Irony is the perfect name for you, because it's ironic you would say that about the right after the shrill, vitriolic anger of the left for the past 8 years. Which, by the way, is what pushed me away from the Democratic party.

The problem 'Talking Points Memos' is that most of the talking points are based on no facts whatsoever. They are invented to discredit and distract the other side. Notice how their talking points say that Kennedy was an "Iconic Senator" but but the same day he died and the day after Rush has been blaming everything under the sun on him.

this woman is a blithering idiot. i dont think wingnuts like her realize that when you invoke the death of ted kennedy to illegitimately claim that the democrats are playing politics with his death, you are also using his death to make your own political talking points. so whose really playing politics and using a death to manipulate people into going against health care and being scared of the evil libruls? and on top of it all, everybody knows conservatives like her absolutely loathe sen kennedy and liberal democrats like him... but now she professes that he was well-liked? this talking point will stick so well with the wingnuts and everyone at fox... and it is a disgusting tactic. watch... next week, ingraham will do a complete 180 and bash him incessantly. in fact, didnt she bash him on the factor last night?

and i would bet my life on the fact that sen kennedy himself would love for his former colleagues to push for this bill even more after his death (in honor of his legacy). based on the current circumstances, he would be all for it. hell, he was the one who has pushed for this kind of health care reform for decades, so why wouldnt he? but the stupid conservatives forgot all about that and are kissing up to his name and trying to turn his own democratic colleagues against him to make a cheap political point. i never thought the conservatives and wingnuts would sink to this level.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Ted Kennedy wrote some notes in his last days to be read at his funeral service.
      One would read as follows
"Please pass the HealthCare Bill for me. I hope that you will remember my life long work to get all Americans affordable Health Care. If necessary, invoke my name at every turn. Use my words to get this bill passed.
And if any of the talk show hosts try to deflect my wishes by using the same lies they used concerning Wellstone please tell them for me to go F$%# themselves."

      Thank You, Teddy
