Yeah, that what I said: a liberal.
Yeah, I'm kidding. No, you're right. Sad thing is that an "Eisenhower republican" IS practically a liberal, relative to the ideological purity being asked buy the current makeup of the Republican's and their merry band of neo-cons and funny-mentalists.
Something has to happen with Health Care. It has been spiraling, totally out of control for some time now. It has always been a passion of Ted Kennedy to FIX THE PROBLEM.
Finding a solution is necessary. Period. If people want to consider it a tribute to EMK, as LBJ considered the Civil Rights act to be a tribute to JFK, so what? No harm done.
As an afterthought, it sure would be nice if all these clueless people trashing the Wellstone memorial actually saw the ENTIRE memorial. Of course, they would probably still lie about it, but it would be nice.
Funny because election after election show that people do want this....
Also I've noticed many more people on the Right accusing the Left of playing the "death card" as a way to get the bill passed then have actually seen people on the Left suggest it. So it seems to me that the Right is trying to convince people that the Left is playing the death card, even if they are not, just so the Right can justify its opposition to it.......
So who is politizing Kennedy's death?
(this of course leaves out the fact that Kennedy probibly would have been more than happy to have his death politicized to finally accomplish his life's work of getting healthcare reform for all, so even if the death is being politicized I figure its ok as the decedent wouldnt object to it...)

Death Card
just need some Death Dice and we can play "D&D"
Oh cheney2012, how I miss you. Stop lurking and share some of your wisdom with us simpletons.
and i would bet my life on the fact that sen kennedy himself would love for his former colleagues to push for this bill even more after his death (in honor of his legacy). based on the current circumstances, he would be all for it. hell, he was the one who has pushed for this kind of health care reform for decades, so why wouldnt he? but the stupid conservatives forgot all about that and are kissing up to his name and trying to turn his own democratic colleagues against him to make a cheap political point. i never thought the conservatives and wingnuts would sink to this level.
One would read as follows
"Please pass the HealthCare Bill for me. I hope that you will remember my life long work to get all Americans affordable Health Care. If necessary, invoke my name at every turn. Use my words to get this bill passed.
And if any of the talk show hosts try to deflect my wishes by using the same lies they used concerning Wellstone please tell them for me to go F$%# themselves."
Thank You, Teddy
P.S. Especially that Laura ingrat woman.
HER VILE WORDS ALWAYS MAKE ME SICK.
