      Sadly, this is just another Adam Coulter 'look at me' comment. Her only value (if you can call it that) is saying stupid and hateful things.

      I don't care how much money he/she makes, it's an awful and perverse way to earn a living. I can only think that he/she must need heavy doses of prescription drugs to sleep at night.

      This garbage is taken totally out of context. The discussion was of several approaches to end of life care and was discussing the ethical shortcomings of each apporach.

      Well, though her comments are shocking (as they usually are) the quote from Emmanual is MORE so. I suppose that means that brain injured people won't be supported in ICU, CP kids won't get gastrostomies for tube feedings etc.
      Of course if you're more comfortable with think tank personnel determining who should and should not receive care than the MDs involved that's your choice, but NOT mine.

        Interesting that AnnieChrist and Hannity are so worried about care being denied to patients with dementia.I guess they have to look out for themselves.

        I would like to congratulate Seannie on managing to trim down his nickname to Rahm "dead fish " Emmanuel. I heard him struggling with this for months, trying to connect RE's sending a fish in a newspaper (indicating a "fish wrapper" or worthless newspaper) to some editor, with the mafia "sleeps with the fishes" threat. At times, the part in parentheses was 15 or 20 words long.

        I think the version he settled on is enough for the attention span of the Hannitized.

      She and Hanny have it wrong. I just read pages 425-430, 447 & 491, and the Bible. The end of life counseling is for all the talking heads at FOX. They serve no productive purpose so it is only logical. They will be missed.

      I remember obermann wishing that "Bush would just die" and no one saying that that was out of line but she says it and everyone panics, forgetting the real story of acting like it isnt true.

      Of course you can cover 47 million new people and cut costs, it's called not increasing profits by 400% on already ridicules profits. These right wing nuts are just projecting, they assume that everyone would do exactly what they would do if they were in complete control. Thankfully they aren't, and hopefully they won't ever be, cause that'd be terrible day for everyone.
