Right. As I recall it was Grey Poupon Dijon Style. Horrors! He ordered a (gulp! gasp! choke!) French mustard. Well, actually Grey Poupon is owned by Kraft, which is still (I think) American owned. But, because it's a French style moutard,
and any real American would have gone for ketchup anyway, it's a loss for the Prez.

Now he's serving American brewed beers owned by international conglomerates, so he's un-American. It's a lose-lose to these idiots.

By the way, what's happened to Megyn Kelly? She's seemed reasonable in the last couple of clips I've seen.

Okay, I'm with Megyn, they should be allowed to drink what they want. Too bad none of them has any real taste in beer. Not really a beer fan, but I would go for Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.

I used to drink beer and thought Fat Tire brand the best, and then, years later, realized it was all crap compared to a nice merlot.

Yes, you are right on that. I was on a business trip last month and had a lovely Merlot with my sirloin tips and sauteed spinich. It was delicious! My daughter, however is the only beer drinker in the house, she gets defensive, but she tries to drink decent stuff. She enjoyed Sam Adams Boston Brick Red when we went to dinner (in Boston.)

*News Alert!* *Condition Level Purple!* Fox News has just been informed that Obama drinks wine. His unamerican antics must be addressed by all patriotic Americans. We are having 'booze parties' across the nation to show our displeasure at Obama and his nefarious connections to France. Thank you for your support as a true American!

Yes, and one of the men on Faux and Frenimies actually suggested Coors, with a mention to the Conservative credentials. Paul Newman drank it for years despite the connections to the right wing.

I'm not sure what stretch he was making about blue moon, but regardless of the 'ownership' of the 'brand name', it is produced by and distributed by Coors.

The real message should be that the US is losing all of their business to foreign companies and we don't manufacture many things anymore.

Try buying an American made TV to watch your dumb show.

American large production lagers are still weak, but smaller producers have been getting it right for a long time now. When you move away from the cheap lagers to well-crafted beer, like, Stouts, Porters, Pilsners, Lagers and Ales made by smaller production or by brewers who take flavor more seriously, you'll find good American beer. I love Guinness, but I buy many American stouts, too. But the President drinking a sad reflection of a lager, like Budweiser, is like wine drinkers who love box white zinfidel and would never even try a inexpensive reisling. Taste is taste.

There's no accounting for taste. I'm actually surprised he's not getting flak for having a light beer. I would expect someone to say "Aren't those really for women?" Or maybe a reference to a 40 of malt liquor.

That's mighty good beer. But you definitely are what you drink after a few...
