Shorter Megyn Kelly: "I would never have gone into reporting if I knew I'd cover people who use big words."

      Once AGAIN, Meg . . .

Events like these hearings, and Obama's press conferences, ARE NOT staged for your entertainment.

I'm aware that you and your fellow wingnuts have the attention span of a three-year-old . . . which is why we voted the likes of you out in 2006 and 2008 and put the adults in charge.

I think the peroxide must have addled her brain and shortened her attention span, but that doesn't mean it has for the rest of us. Frankly, I get the feeling that Fixed News is trying to bore us into submission.

It's called "the system", idiots. It's not a reality show. It's a process by which our government works. Are Senators supposed to modify their questioning to fit someone's idea of what's entertaining?

Do these people ever get jury duty? "What is all this crap about contracts? Can't we get a case with violence or sex or something? The lawyers at least need to get up in the witness's faces and shout at them or something. This is boooooorrrring!"

Maybe she should consider a different line of work. I hear Hooters is hiring.

Megan is just frustrated there are no bright lights to blink at and soap bubbles to blow.

      What a total ditz.

I'm so sorry that the hearings is a legal discertation on her beliefs...

Maybe if there were some pie charts and diagrams, Kelly would find it more palatable.

Does she think this is a Reality Show?

i hate to agree with kelly, but yes these hearings a incredibly boreing. senators posturing, repugs trying to look tough, dems fawning over her. it was the opposite last time.

And again, this confirmation hearing is not supposed to be about entertainment. It's about confirming the nominee to the highest bench in the land. These things aren't that interesting and exciting, they're not entertainment, they're generally pretty dull, and yes, boring.

That's how it works. These hearings are not a spectacle, although some hearings in the past have been (McCarthy, the Gore music hearings, and so on).

Who cares if it's boring to an infotainer?? The senators govern the country, not entertain it. For that matter, I've never heard anyone call the SCOTUS "thrilling" or "exciting".
