I'm sure there is some convoluted explanation for this. There always is.

No, I think he knows that a lot of what he says is "over the top" and here he is admitting it. MMFA should applaud his candor and self "criticism".

Hey Oscar, totally off topic, but if during an interview, they say "I want you to come back thursday to meet with HR, we will give you an offer after your meeting with her", does that mean I got the job?

I am very happy and totally stoked! It was amazing how it happened too. My mom was in town for my daughter's graduation, she was flying out on standby. The airport let us go to the terminal with her and sit. This aquaintance I knew was on the same flight! She gave me her card and told me to call her in a few days, when I did she invited me in for the interview. We didn't spend much time talking about my background, and then the CEO came in and chatted for a few minutes. It really is true that networking is the best way to get employed!

I would say that if you accept the offer, you have the job. Great!! Been a long test for you and your family. On the flip side, just because you have a new job doesn't mean I will agree politically with you to any greater degree.

I would never expect more, because I know you think things through before you make a stand. I also want to thank you for some of the job ideas you passed my way. I think very highly of you regardless of what side of the line you fall on.

I actually find him funnier and laugh my guts out when he is TRYING to be serious, important & intelligent. When he thinks he is being comical I do not find him funny at all, just stupid.
