I'm sure the redistricting would be gerrymandered to support the GOP

I'm sure you were outraged with DeLay and the teabaggers were gerrymandering districts over the last 8 years....right?

Meanwhile I'm sure the Heritage Foundation has figured out 10,000 ways to job the census.

So let me get this straight - now these imbeciles are starting to plant the idea in their mouthbreathing minions that Census takers are going to be a danger to their guns? Are Quinn & Rose going to take responsibility once someone plugs some poor kid between the eyes for showing up at their door bearing a clipboard?

It seems that right-wingers are increasingly abusing libertarianism in order to give their own point of view some legitimacy. By 'abusing', I mean that distrust is the underlying message. If that distrust successfully spreads far enough, then it stops being libertarianism and starts being anarchy.

Of further note is the reference to Bachmann. If a guiding figure of these people is a woman who thinks that the gas we breathe out is not bad for us, then reasoned debate with them further becomes a pipedream.

Finally, the idea that the government shouldn't be asking about the number of toilets in your house because that is sensitive information is laughable. The government wants to know, not so it can regulate the amount of water coming into your house, but because indoor plumbing is a basic indicator of the standard of living. If access to running water in a neighbourhood is low, then it might be a good idea to fund government projects to increase that access, which would be a good way to create jobs and increase property value. In short, the government wants to know where, if at all, it can invest in the communities it governs.

Why not? They've laready ruined ONE political part (the Republicans) why not take down the Libertarians while they're at it? At the end of all this, we'll be back to the Democratic-Republicans (the offical name of Jefferson's party) opposed by the Religious Nut-Bag, Bible-Humping Theocratic party. (They'll only represent abouy 20% of America, but hey: They'll be conservative!)

Interesting thought - formenting terror in someone elses name. That actually indicates a slight amount of intelligence in an otherwise imbecillic crowd.

The 'intelligence' involved is comparable to the bully on the playground who has convinced 3 or 4 other kids that he actually knows anything.

Acorn, the same group that never inflated a voter registration would probably never be interested in inflating a census count!

With all their ethical woes, maybe they could join up with the Sicilian mob and 'do a census tha She-ca-ga way!'

PS: media matters (for very little), I'm at @101 postings without obscenities, what is the official number necessary to not have to go before the thought czars at the progressive politburo to post on this site?
