Hey Ann? People who live in glass houses shouldn't walk around naked.
(Or throw stones,I guess. I just wanted to give you that first visual. Wakes you up better than that terrible coffee they have in machine at the office.) :)
If you saw that and couldn't help throwing a stone or two, and broke a pane you could be looking right at her without any filter, risking turning into stone yourself. But you could get the secret of how she makes the snakes on her head look like blonde hair.
Carville really shouldn't be a spokesperson for the Dems anymore - no longer does his homework and totally ineffective. Didn't even bother to go read the entire text to frame her statement in the context it was issued: about racial and sexual discrimination.
I did not watch this clip because the most important issue here is why would any morning show or news program even look for the opinion of this shill(i thought of something else to say but MMfA would not have posted this comment). Shame on anyone who seeks her twisted opinion.
I agree. The ONLY reason she even gets to pontificate on politics is because she helped set up Bill Clinton's perjury trap. The Republicans owe her big time for that, so they make sure that her nitwit books are all "bestsellers", and they arrange for her to appear on these talk shows to spew her bile.
Otherwise she'd be defending drunk drivers and wife beaters at some podunk law firm.
Let's just admit the obvious. Whenever the usual suspects like Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck etc. appear on the screen, you KNOW that what you're about to hear is bullsh*t.
Sigh. This is rich. Inviting a self-hating, homophobic, Anti-Semitic screech monkey like Coulter to discuss "racism" on the second most watched news program in the morning. How nice.
Only in American can someone so vile and intellectually bankrupt can reach this type of fame, all because she has a clipped New England/Hepburnesque accent and can string a few fancy sentences together. Harriet Martineau must be rolling in her grave right now.
Ann,
Would it be racist or sexist if you said your experiences as a floozy and a hizz-o give you a better understanding of how to get what you want from throwing open your legs than an Arab male might have? That would not be racist. Accurate is probably the best way to describe it.
Try TRUTH, MM! Ann Coulter pointed out that others said it was racist andshe agreeed!
And, I'd like to know what is NOT RACIST about saying that your "Latina-ness" makes you somehow better at being a judge!!?? Making any discriminating judgment based on race (positive or negative) IS the Very Definition fo Racism.
You all need to sharpen your intellects a tad, and start thinking for yourselves.
I'm missing the "lie" here. If she agreed that it was racist, then she called it racist.
She didn't say that race makes anyone better at being a judge, her point was in regards to cases of discrimination for race and gender. If you actually take in the context to the quote, and do a little thinking for yourself, you'll realize that's not racist at all.
I find it interesting that all my life I have heard conservatives complain that minorities were way too sensitive and quick to call something or someone a "racist". Personally, I have learned to be patient and to give people the benefit of the doubt before attaching such a powerful negative label to someone.
Fastforward to today. Conservatives taking a single statement out of context from 10 years ago and rushing headlong to claim in less than 10 hours of Sotomayor's nomination that Sotomayor is in fact a "racist" or that her statement was "racist". Total hypocrites.
As lame as these type of phony issues are, I appreciate when they come up.
They really shine the light on the closet racists. The overt racists are pretty easy to ID, by their white hoods and burning crosses. These sort of topics are better at exposing the people who just don't understand what racism is, the "polite" types who are not committed enough to join the KKK,but, deep down, know they want to hate somebody, and blame somebody for their problems.
The right wing manual is pretty clear on how to respond to any Obama appointment---put an 'ist' on a word describing the appointee.

Ann is sticking to the book. Job well done.
(And what's the deal with that Adam's apple? My friends always told me to never go home with a woman who has one. Is that because they're always Republicans?)

Anyway, who gives a flip what Ann Coulter says these days. I give as much credence to what my dog might say.
Was that in defense of Coulter, or was her naked image just too much to take? :)
The talking point has already taken hold.
TV Journalism: an oxymoron.
Otherwise she'd be defending drunk drivers and wife beaters at some podunk law firm.
