Coulter: liberals don't drop "a heinous idea; they just change the name" ... "Nikita Khrushchev" becomes "Barack Obama"

([Liberal Lie #]11) Obama has dropped his demand for the ironically titled "public option" (i.e., government-run health care), which taxpayers will not have an "option" to pay for or not.

Liberals never, ever drop a heinous idea; they just change the name. "Abortion" becomes "choice," "communist" becomes "progressive," "communist dictatorship" becomes "people's democratic republic" and "Nikita Khrushchev" becomes "Barack Obama."

It doesn't matter if liberals start calling national health care a "chocolate chip puppy" or "ice cream sunset" -- if the government is subsidizing it, then the government calls the shots. And the moment the government gets its hands on the controls, it will be establishing death panels, forcing taxpayers to pay for abortions and illegal aliens, rationing care and then demanding yet more government control when partial government control creates a mess.

Which happens to be exactly what liberals are doing right now.

      You mean like the fact I have to pay local school taxes, and yet I have no children in public schools (or children for that matter)

        Who uses Khrushchev analogies these days? You can just imagine the holiday get togethers they must have had over at grandma's.

          It's the whole "banging the shoe" thing. They can't get it out of their heads so they keep bringing it up.


          Actually, I think they admire the fact that he did that in order to get attention, and make his point.

      Coulter has so many negatives, I'm hard put to be charitable in my observations however, here goes!

      Coulter's obvious Excellence in one area...is the awesome ability to regurgitate, with such delight and gusto, all the contempt, hate talk and lies without batting an eyelash! What Control!

      Just think...without this amazing talent, Anny would just be another sad, bitter, and uninsured empty shell, ripe for the pickings to be used by...mouthpieces like Coulter!

      Torture becomes enhance Interrogation Technique.

      The invasion of Iraq who had nothing to do with 9/11 and posed no imminent threat to the USA, becomes the Global War on Terror.

      The government health care option becomes Socialized Medicine.

      End of life counseling becomes Death Panels.

      Anthrax Coulter comes from a wealthy background. She has lead a life of priviledge, she never married and doesn't have children. She has never had to worry about walking the floors with a sick child or worrying about making the bills, do I go in and have my earache and strep throat treated or do I pay my gas bill. She hasn't seen the pain and embarassment of seeing a family member denied insurance because of a pre-existing condition. And while it is a choice I would not make, going to get a medically administered abortion is a choice over what used to happen in the old days. Women still got abortions, but the providers were not nearly as well trained and the outcomes were often just as bad for the mother as for the fetus. I do not want to see women return to back alleys and coat hangers. And as to a public option, I pay for the uninsured now through higher premiums and costs, and insurance companies ration care now, in ways we may or may not be aware of because they don't have to share their rationale with us, the consumer.
